Our dispensary is located in each office and can fill many of your basic prescription needs without the need for making another stop. We also have many of your over the counter needs.
Electronic Medical Records
EMR’s are becoming important in patient care. They provide continuity of care between our physicians, nurses and triage staff.
If you are preparing to be a new parent or grandparent, join us for our Newborn Class. These classes are free and led by one of our Pediatricians. Click here to see the schedule
ADHD and Autism Screenings
There are several screenings we do in the office during well child check ups that look for growth and developmental milestones. In addition we can discuss and screen for ADHD and Autism if we discover a need or you have concerns.
**Forms only to be filled out if requested by the physician.
Does your child ever just have a sore throat? Maybe you don’t want to see a physician for that? We have a certified lab that offers walk-in throat cultures. Our lab also is certified to run many of your labs at the time of your appointment. No waiting for a call back on your results. Our physicians can take care of your needs while you wait.
Well Child Check Ups
Well child checkups start almost as soon as your child is born and continue throughout life. These are an important part of staying healthy. At these visits you can also get your forms for school, camps and sports. TSSAA requires a specific form you can download here. OHPA feels strongly that sports physicals done at walk in clinics or through schools are not adequate. These are not complete check ups. See below for all the important parts of a check up.
Pediatric Check-up visits include:
- Weight, height, body mass index (BMI)
- Nutrition and Sleep development
- Physical development and activity
- Social development and activity
- Cognitive development and academics for older children
- Developmental Screenings
- Family and Social History
- Complete Physical Exam
- Hearing and Vision Screening
- Immunization update
- Preventive Health and Safety Recommendations

Triage or Phone Nurses
We have several nurses who are available by phone both day and night to answer your questions regarding anything from illness questions to forms to how to handle behavior issues. They are here to help. If needed, we always have a physician on call to help. Our nurses are capable of helping with a wide variety of issues and many of our nurses have been with us for over 15 years. You can call us or use our online portal.
Vaccines are also an intricate part of both a child’s well being and community well being. OHPA physicians follow the guidelines set forth by the American Academy of Pediatrics. http://www.aap.org
